Summer has finally arrived here in Alberta and it's the perfect time to kick back, relax, and enjoy a few margaritas in the sunshine. C’mon, we deserve it after a long, cold winter!

However, sometimes summer can act as a double-edged sword. As a blogger, it can be tough to stay motivated and come up with engaging content when all you want to do is hit the nearest patio.

Stay Cool with Creative Titles

Think about all the fun summer-related words you can incorporate into your blog titles – sunshine, vacation, beach, BBQs… the sky’s the limit! 

Allow your creative juices to flow and craft catchy and descriptive titles that will draw readers in and keep them hooked. If your title isn’t fun, it won’t get time in the sun – so don’t be afraid to stretch your brainstorming muscles to come up with an eye-catching headline!

The summer season is all about being outside and immersing yourself in the great outdoors is a great way to get inspired.

Bike through your local park, stroll down summery 17th Ave, head down to the river for some inspiration… whatever you like!

Summer is full of vibrancy, lush greenery, and picturesque landscapes, and integrating summery imagery into your blog is a great way to add color and dimension to your posts.

Add some vivid images that fit with your topic, or even create some fun graphics to make your blog post more appealing and eye-catching.

We’re not crazy (well, not completely anyways) when we say this. “Cut the waffle” is actually writer-speak for “staying on topic and getting to the point.”
